Oeko-Tex is an international trademark with stringent standards for product safety and sustainability, so you can be sure any dyes with the Standard 100 label are completely devoid of harmful substances.

We began this design by studying nature’s most soothing shapes—curling ocean waves, the delicate contours of oyster mushrooms—and asked, “How can we capture that movement in a wearable accessory?” The answer: luxurious organic cotton satin, expertly layered into a soft ruffle. Our plastic-free elastic, made from natural tree rubber and organic cotton, ensures the entire piece honors both your hair and the planet. The result is a gentle, breathable scrunchie that balances minimalist style with just the right amount of drama. Every fold and stitch reflects our deep appreciation for Earth’s elegance, reimagined for your everyday.

Plant materials are, by nature, capable of being broken down and returned to the soil - eventually. KOOSHOO products are created in a way that makes them durable, strong and high performance, but they’re still designed by nature to eventually break down (just as intended) - but proper care can extend their life. To maximize longevity, avoid storing them in direct sunlight, stretching them while wet, or letting oils and hair products linger on them.
